Dual-action science.
Exceptional results.
Zepbound contains tirzepatide — the same active ingredient in Mounjaro — and works as both a GIP and GLP-1 receptor agonist simultaneously. This dual-action mechanism is what sets it apart from every other weight loss medication on the market.
While semaglutide (Wegovy, Ozempic) targets only one hormone pathway, tirzepatide targets two — reducing hunger more effectively, improving insulin sensitivity, and producing significantly greater weight loss in head-to-head clinical trials. Zepbound is also FDA-approved to treat obstructive sleep apnea.

Two pathways.
One powerful result.
Zepbound’s dual-action formula works on your body’s natural hormone systems to reduce appetite, regulate blood sugar, and drive meaningful, sustained weight loss.
|
GLP-1 Receptor Agonist
Appetite ControlGLP-1 mimics the hormone your gut releases after eating. It signals your brain that you’re full, slows gastric emptying so meals feel more satisfying, and reduces cravings — making it significantly easier to eat less without feeling deprived.
|
GIP Receptor Agonist
Metabolic EnhancementGIP is a second gut hormone that works alongside GLP-1 to amplify the weight loss effect. It improves insulin sensitivity, enhances fat metabolism, and has been shown to reduce the nausea sometimes associated with GLP-1 medications alone.

Start low.
Build gradually.
Zepbound is dosed once weekly via a simple subcutaneous injection. Your CNL provider will guide you through each step of the dose escalation to maximize results and minimize side effects.
Weeks 1–4
Your starting dose. Taken once weekly to allow your body to adjust. Most patients tolerate this dose very well with minimal side effects.
Weeks 5–8
First dose increase. Many patients begin noticing meaningful appetite suppression and early weight loss at this stage.
Months 3 and Beyond
Your dose continues to increase monthly as tolerated — up to 10mg, 12.5mg, or 15mg — based on your response and your provider’s recommendation. Most significant weight loss occurs during this phase.
Injection tip: Zepbound can be injected into the lower abdomen, upper thigh, or back of the upper arm. Rotate injection sites with each dose. The compounded generic version is provided as a syringe; your CNL provider will walk you through the process at your consultation.
