Semaglutide.
Proven to work.
Wegovy (semaglutide) is an FDA-approved prescription medication for chronic weight management in adults. It belongs to the GLP-1 receptor agonist class — drugs that mimic a hormone your body naturally produces to regulate appetite, slow gastric emptying, and promote fullness.
With years of clinical data behind it, Wegovy has an outstanding safety record and is also FDA-approved to reduce the risk of heart attack, stroke, and cardiovascular death in adults with obesity or overweight and established cardiovascular disease — making it more than just a weight loss medication.
Wegovy is also available as a once-daily oral pill — the first oral GLP-1 approved for weight management. Learn about oral Wegovy →

Metabolic & Cardiovascular
Improves Overall HealthBeyond weight loss, Wegovy improves key metabolic markers and is the only GLP-1 medication FDA-approved to reduce the risk of serious cardiovascular events in adults with obesity or overweight.

Start low.
Build gradually.
Wegovy is dosed once weekly via subcutaneous injection, starting at 0.25mg and increasing every four weeks. Your CNL provider guides every step of the dose escalation.
Weeks 1–4
Your starting dose. Taken once weekly to allow your body to adjust. Most patients tolerate this initial dose very well with minimal side effects.
Months 2–3
Dose increases to 0.5mg then 1mg over two months. Appetite suppression becomes more noticeable and early weight loss typically begins during this phase.
Months 4 and Beyond
Dose continues to increase toward the 2.4mg maintenance dose. Most significant and sustained weight loss occurs during this phase, guided by your provider’s recommendation.
Also available as a daily pill: Wegovy is the first GLP-1 approved in oral form. If you prefer not to inject, ask your CNL provider about oral semaglutide. Learn more about oral Wegovy →
